Creative phase

Being removed from life has always been good for my creative side. Somehow all the energy I would otherwise use for other things just channels through to paper. I am starting to realize this is something to be utilized, something I can use to my advantage .

Yeah, sorry, I tend to resort to humor when I am not sure what to say.
So last six months or so I spent back home, at the south of Croatia, and two weeks ago I moved to Vancouver.
I worked a lot during that period. And I drank a lot. And ate lot. I worked a little less in these drinking/eating times, that's true...
Basically what I am saying is this: Even though I had new stuff and enough material to post during these months, for the most part I had to much fun to blog.
There I said it!


Good news is having a life for a while has given me a lot of inspiration, and being in a new city/continent definitely has had an interesting influence on my head.
Anyways for you guys who are still with me, hope to see you around again.

Hi you guys!!! How was Christmas? New Years? Resolutioning much?

So...

The good news is am drawing a lot. Really killing it. I do admit I am constantly balancing between just trying to be better and delusional perfectionism. I swear to God I feel I am walking this blade daily and to be honest I am never sure which side I am on. It might be either. I guess I'll know what it was in hindsight.
But the (arguably) bad news is that I definitely know I am not there yet. I know that there is no there there so I will accept the vicinity of "there" but I am not even close. I do realize a month and a half is not enough time to make any major change so this was, at the start, too optimistic of an expectation.
Thing is before returning to blog I would like to have a new portfolio and do it properly.

So I will leave you for a little while longer. In the meantime, enjoy one of the quick new sketches (Can I just say: boyfriend jeans and a cool blazer with sexy heels!?!? Yum!!!)

My drawings are looking for a new home

I am drawing. Not as much as I hoped, but I am. My style is going through a mutation. Nothing drastic, but I can already see it. So I am having a sale of some of my earlier drawings on Etsy. These are the prints I have already made before for one reason or another, and after I sell them I plan to retire them. This ways they will live out their purpose, hopefully find a loving home and then happily retire for me to visit them all too rarely (isn't it always like that).
